At Sinoita, we are committed to providing customers with a clear, secure, and reliable checkout experience.
This Payment Policy explains the payment methods available on our website, payment processing, currency, billing verification, payment authorization, taxes, declined payments, refunds, and other payment-related terms.
This policy applies to purchases made through www.sinoita.com.
Payment Summary
1. Accepted Payment Methods
Depending on the customer’s location, device, browser, payment account, and order details, the following payment methods may be available during checkout:
The payment methods displayed during checkout are the official payment options available for a particular transaction.
Some payment methods may not appear for every customer. For example, availability may depend on:
Sinoita does not currently advertise or accept:
Shop Pay Installments is not listed as an accepted payment method unless it is separately activated and displayed during checkout.
2. Payment Processing and Security
Sinoita’s online store and checkout are powered by Shopify and supported payment providers.
Payment information is submitted through the applicable checkout and payment systems. Sinoita does not store complete credit or debit card numbers on its own website or business systems.
Depending on the selected payment method, payment information may be processed by:
These providers may process payment information according to their own terms, privacy notices, fraud-prevention practices, and security procedures.
3. How to Complete a Payment
To place an order:
By submitting payment information, you confirm that:
4. Currency
Sinoita’s primary website currency is United States Dollars (USD).
The currency and final amount displayed during checkout are authoritative for the transaction.
If your payment account is issued in another currency, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply:
These external charges are determined by the applicable financial institution or payment provider and are not collected or controlled by Sinoita.
5. Pricing and Checkout Total
Product prices may change before an order is submitted. The price charged for an accepted order will be the price displayed during checkout when the order is placed, except where correction is permitted by applicable law for a material or obvious pricing error.
The checkout total may include:
Sinoita does not charge a membership fee or an undisclosed service fee for completing a standard purchase.
Customers can review the complete checkout total before submitting payment.
6. Sales Tax, Duties, and Other Charges
For U.S. orders, applicable state or local sales tax will be calculated and displayed during checkout where Sinoita is required and configured to collect it.
International orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, brokerage charges, or other government-imposed fees depending on the destination and applicable law.
Any tax, duty, or similar amount collected by Sinoita will be displayed during checkout. Charges not displayed or collected during checkout may be assessed separately by local authorities, carriers, or service providers where applicable.
Sinoita provides Free Standard Shipping for eligible U.S. orders. Free shipping does not necessarily mean that an international order is exempt from customs duties or import taxes.
7. Billing Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete billing information.
Billing information should include:
Incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent billing information may cause a payment to be declined, delayed, or submitted for additional review.
8. Payment Authorization and Temporary Holds
When an order is placed, the selected payment method may be authorized immediately.
Depending on the payment provider, a temporary authorization hold may appear before the payment is fully captured or completed.
A pending authorization is not always a separate completed charge. If an order is cancelled before payment capture, the transaction may appear as an authorization release rather than a refund.
The time required to release an unused authorization is determined by the customer’s bank or payment provider.
9. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention
To help protect customers and prevent unauthorized transactions, Sinoita and its payment providers may review an order when:
We may contact the customer to request reasonable verification information. An order may be delayed or cancelled if payment or essential order details cannot be verified.
Customers should never send complete card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or one-time verification codes to Sinoita.
10. Failed or Declined Payments
If a payment is declined or unsuccessful, please:
An order associated with a failed or declined payment will not be processed until valid payment has been successfully completed.
11. Pending or Duplicate-Looking Transactions
Multiple payment attempts may cause more than one temporary authorization to appear in the customer’s payment history.
If you believe you were charged more than once, first check whether the transactions are completed charges or pending authorizations.
You may then contact Customer Support with:
Do not send your complete card number, card security code, account password, or verification code.
12. Order Confirmation
After a successful checkout, Sinoita will send an order confirmation to the email address supplied during checkout.
The confirmation normally includes the order number, products, prices, customer information, and checkout total.
An order confirmation acknowledges that the order was received. It does not mean that the order has been shipped.
A separate Shipping Confirmation with tracking information will be sent after the order is processed and dispatched.
If you do not receive an order confirmation, check your spam or junk folder and contact us before attempting the same payment repeatedly.
13. Cancelled Orders and Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction unless another method is required by applicable law or expressly agreed with the customer.
If an order is cancelled before payment is fully captured, the transaction may be released as an authorization reversal rather than processed as a separate refund.
After Sinoita issues a refund, the customer’s bank, card issuer, PayPal, or other payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear in the account.
Sinoita does not control the posting time used by a bank or payment provider.
Return eligibility, return shipping responsibility, cancellation requirements, refund processing, and any applicable refund deductions are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a payment is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or connected to an unresolved order issue, you may contact Customer Support so we can review the transaction and provide available order information.
Contacting Sinoita first may allow an issue to be resolved more quickly, but nothing in this policy limits a customer’s right to contact their bank, PayPal, payment provider, consumer authority, or another competent authority.
15. Changes to This Payment Policy
We may update this Payment Policy to reflect changes in:
Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
